Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly event hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
- Here is how it works.
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that others can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
I'm reading The Discworld Grahpic Novels - The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic by Terry Pratchett! See the inside here
"Great A'Tuin the Turtle comes, swimming through the interstellar gulf.... Through sea-sized eyes, he stares fixedly at the destination. In a brain bigger than a city, he thinks only of the weight. Most of the weight is, of course, accounted for by Berilia, Tubul, Great T'phon, and Jerakeen, on whose star-tanned sholders the Disc of the world rests."
This is a picture of the scene of my Teaser Tuesday. Awesome, eh?
22 Witty Remarks!:
Cool. Different.
Good one!
Teaser Tuesdays: Wait Until Twilight by Sang Pak
This is a great teaser. I love the pictures in this graphic novel. I have read The Colour of Magic, but not any others. It seems like a fun series.
I will have to do my teaser this evening after football practice.
Why don't we go ahead and move on in Name. I don't have to much to say on this section since it was a shorter section. The next section is longer so we can go ahead and start into it & I will try to post tonight on your posts and new posts over at B&N.
I am 50/50 on what to start next. Do you want to do Hunger Games so we can get it done then next month we can do the second book? That way if we run over on The Blade Itself we still can get into the second book of Hunger Games too? I know you are excited to get to it. Would that work for you? Let me know.
Talk to you later!
cool! :)
Krista I left you something on my blog!

I've never read any Pratchet before - looks interesting :) Great teaser this week! My teaser accompanies a giveaway on my blog this week.
Didn't know that the discworld books were available as graphic novels. Very cool! Love that series.
I have an award
for you, so stop by whenever you have time. Thanks!
I haven't read any of these before. I must say I like the teaser eventhough I don't think I understood a word of it. The graphic is freaking awesome.
That makes me think of the album Star Turtle by Harry Connick Jr.
oooo discworld! I haven't read those books before even one is listed on my to read soon list. They're interesting I think. :) great teaser.
I have only read one Terry Pratchett book--MORT. But I enjoyed it. I tried watching the first movie, The Hogfather? And I couldn't get into it. I think I'll look into the graphic novels though. :)
Great teaser!
Very cool and unique. I love the picture, although I'm not sure I have a reason as to why that is.
I have just discovered Terry Pratchett after reading Good Omens. Now I will have to check this one out.
By the way - I have tagged you

Billy, my oldest, is a huge Terry Pratchett fan. I never could get into his work...go figure.
I've never read a graphic novel so thanks for sharing your unusual teaser!
Love that graphic! It illustrates the text beautifully. Nice teaser!
Love pratchett! Great teaser and love the pic!
Cool teaser, especially the graphic
Okay, I just got my teaser up if you would like to stop by. And also check out the messages on my review for The Crown Conspiracy. It is really cool! I am going to post a comment to the author and see if he would mind if I copied his answers to a blog post so others can get to know him. What do you think?
Thanks, everyone, for stopping by!
Way cool, huh!?! Over at my blog. I think we have a good thing going here! I am sorry, I am just kind of excited. I feel like I have meet a huge movie star in person. LOL!!
Also, tagged you in my abc's.
Love that you included the graphic with the teaser! I've never read anything by Pratchett, this sounds interesting.
